Dirty Habit restaurant celebrates foie gras ban lift
A federal judge reversed part of the foie gras ban and many restaurants jumped at the chance to serve the delicacy again.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KGO) -- After a two-year absence, foie gras is back on the menu in California. A federal judge overruled the state ban on Wednesday and ABC7 News visited one restaurant that was already serving it.

Dirty Habit Executive chef David Bazirgan said, "We're doing an oyster dish. We're doing a Torchon which a classic cold preparation."

To celebrate the overturned ban on foie gras in California, Bazirgan created a four-course menu at San Francisco's Palomar Hotel. Each dish made with fattened duck liver.
