SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco Animal Care & Control is asking the public to help find a puppy that was stolen on Thursday afternoon.

Officials say the 2-month-old pit bull puppy named Louie was stolen at about 2 p.m. from the facility at 1200 15th Street.

They describe a person of interest as a young African American woman wearing a black hoodie with a young man who was wearing a white v-neck t-shirt and a hat.

Security video is being processed and will be released soon.
