SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police released sketches of suspects accused of brutally attacking and killing a San Francisco tourist name Paul Tam who was visiting from Britain in February.

"He took a bag of items and killed someone for it. If he could do it to this person, he could do it to someone else," San Francisco Police Ofc. Carlos Manfredi said.

The attack was captured by surveillance cameras on Post, near Franklin streets.

Police said the suspects tried to steal his backpack, but Tam resisted and was able to get away.

The male suspect chased him down and stabbed him in the head, according to police.

People in the neighborhood are still reeling from the brutal crime.
