Anti-Police Terror Project marched through SFO

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KGO) -- Supporters of the Anti-Police Terror Project are bringing their message to San Francisco International Airport. They spent Saturday afternoon marching around the terminal as people arrived for the super bowl.

Armed with signs and their message, supporters of the Anti-Police Terror Project made their way around SFO's terminals.

The co-founder of the Anti-Police Terror Project, Cat Brooks, said, "While people stream in here to watch this football game police departments in both Oakland and San Francisco are murdering black and brown and poor people with impunity."

Every few feet, the group stopped to read the names of individuals they say were killed by police between 2001 and 2015. SFPD officers kept their distance but followed along.

Organizers and supporters spent a couple of hours making their way through the international and domestic terminals. They say they chose SFO because they wanted to reach the greatest number of eyes, especially those people in town for the Super Bowl.
