Chinese city creates texting only lanes for pedestrians

Chongqing, CHINA (KGO) -- A city in China has a special lane just for distracted walkers who just can't put down their phone.

The cellphone lane is in Chongqing in Southwestern China.

It has warning signs painted in white.

The lanes are on a road popular with tourists.

One blogger writes that many people on their phones don't even notice the markings.
