'Birdman' takes home Oscar for Best Picture

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. It seemed like a sweet moment until an awkward exchange took place during ABC's "Live from the Red Carpet" show.[br /][br /]"She's a really good actress. I don't need to see that to know how good she is," Griffith said.[br /][br /]"All right! You don't have to see it! And equal rights for women in the United States of America," she said.[br /][br /]Julianne Moore won best actress for "Still Alice."[br /][br /]For the men, J.K. Simmons took home an Oscar for best supporting actor for his role in "Whiplash."[br /][br /]And the best actor winner was Eddie Redmayne for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in the "Theory of Everything."
